I am so buying this today. Love that Tina Fey. (Although those man arms are kind of repulsive, right?)

p-dubs cooks
Are you as obsessed with Ree as I am? Last night I cooked up a version of her Summer Stir-Fry and it was the perfect blend of fresh garlicky tastiness. I tweaked it a bit by adding queso fresco, cilantro, fresh squeezed lime and a bit more butter. The hubby added diced avocado as well. Serious Yum. A definite go-to recipe to add to my repertoire.

the romantics
Have you seen the film, The Romantics? It stars Katie Holmes, whom I have loved since her Joey Potter days. The story is about one small-wedding weekend among a group of very closeknit friends. The lakeside home in the movie is absolutely beautiful. My favorite scene is when all of the people in the bridal party are giving toasts at the rehearsal dinner. It captures the absolutely akwardness of knowing so much, almost too much, about another person in a wonderful way.
I love this haunting song from the soundtrack. Excuse the cheesy medley video. I like it because it showcases the JCrew campaign

calypso + target
Holy moly! This is the first Target Designer Collaboration that I literally CANNOT wait for! I love Calypso, but can really only afford their goodies when they are on massive sale. The whole store just screams effortless summer chic. So, this is a definite "can't miss" for me! Coming to a Tarjay near you on May 1st. Mark your calendar.

all about your heart
Hope you enjoy this lovely, lovely song for your Friday. Sometimes I feel just like that little cutie. I could just spin and spin and spin for hours.
Another good one from Mindy. We are off on a lake house weekend retreat and the weather is slated to be in the 80s. I love spring. Hope your weekend is full of sunshine too!

well organized home
Constantly in search of little tips and tricks to keep our casa neat and organized (I am a little bit too type-A). This is a brilliant solution from Martha, of course.
p.s. I didn't initially realize it, but there was a happy little bit of green for you on St Patrick's Day. Enjoy!

do you pin?
Well do you? I do. And let me tell you sister. It is addicting. And a genius concept if you ask me.
Pinterest, as I am sure you all know by now, is a virtual interwebs version of an inspiration board. And it is interactive. Meaning you can follow other pinners who are inevitably more clever and creative than you. And you can repin their pins without feeling like a wimp who can't find their owns things to pin because the whole point of pinning is to share. How cool is that? And it helps me feel more organized. I don't have to have 15 sticky notes with web addresses and 42 word docs with links on my desktop anymore. Anyway, you can sign up here. And follow me here. I highly suggest it.

lay baby lay
This new-to-me mama blog, lay baby lay, is incredible. The blog is full of sweet baby inspiration boards, tutorials and little gems for the kiddos. And Joni is so, so talented. The nursery she created for her beautiful baby girl (see it here and here) is seriously the best I have ever seen. I love it. And I can't wait to dig through all of her archives. You should too.
newlywed map
Jordan has the best ideas. I would love to have a gigantic map of the world with little colored pins dotting all of our adventures. Pink for places I have been, lime green for him. Blue for the places we have traveled together, and yellow? orange? polka dot? for places we dream of visiting. How fun!

you and i
I am mildly obsessing over this song today. Lovely. Hopefully someday C & I will be able to buy our parents exotic homes and everyone dance lessons. For now, we are living on love. Good enough for me.

3 weeks and counting
Let the countdown begin. Only 19 days to go until I am Mrs. Williams. Holy crow!
Engagement photo by our lovely and uber-talented photographer Lauren Larsen. I feel blessed to be working with her before she inevitably becomes super famous. Also, she took some beautiful photos of our church. Love love love-can't wait!

nesting
C & I have the joy of decorating our first place together. We have pretty different taste-he likes clean and modern, I like vintage and cozy. Part of the excitement is the challenge of meshing the two together. This past weekend we purchased this rad adjustable height, glass top table from Ikea to be used as our everyday table in our dining room. I intend to take a bit of the modern edge off of it by adding mix matched vintage chairs and my signature milk glass centerpieces. Can't wait for the move in date!
Our next challenge is bedding. Here are a few things from West Elm that have caught my eye. Luckily C agrees that any of these would be a nice addition to our new home (except for the little yellow table-he needs a bit more convincing on that one).
Pleasted Duvet Cover & Shams (on sale!)
Knit Pillow Covers (on sale!)
Pebble Rug in Slate (on sale!)
Chunky Plaited Wool Rug (on sale!)
Yellow Laquer Serving Tray & Stand
