scripted

I have been thinking a lot lately about being a professional calligrapher. Is that even a profession? I have a long history of doodling in various handwritings. I think calligraphy marries my love for pretty paper with my love for weddings and parties and my love for shiny, swirly stuff. I am contemplating a class offered at SMU. What do you think? How should I get started?

Pretty little flourishes via the craftiest lady around.

I think it could be something very lucrative if you do market research and competitively price your services. While our invitation lady did the addresses for our invitations only because she made a big booboo, I was going to have to add extra hundreds into my wedding budget because the prices around town were exorbitant!
If it is something you are passionate about, success can only follow!
