Happy Inauguration Day! This is history in the making folks! Let's enjoy this day of change as a day where we can celebrate our freedom and right to elect our president. I am thankful I live in a country where power can change hands without war or conflict. How lucky are we? Dang lucky.
If you are one of the lucky ducks who lives in NYC (or is visiting soon), make it a priority to stop by the Danziger Projects to see the Can & Did exhibit (Jan 20-Feb 28) of the Pop Art associated with the Obama campaign and election. Also, apparently they have signed Shepard Fairey posters and other Obama-art for sale. Snap one up while you can, and while you are there, will you grab one for me too?

my god... if this man doesn't turn out to be one of the greatest leaders this country has ever had, he will nonetheless go down in history as having inspired the most remarkable outpouring of art, creativity, and pure hope of any American president, ever.
